Vice President, Finance Tyler & Company has been retained by Saint Barnabas Health Care System Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers and Assisted Living, to conduct a national search for the Vice President of Finance in Union, New Jersey. Saint Barnabas Health Care System is the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in New Jersey and one of the largest in the nation. The Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers and Assisted Living Residencies Division is comprised of eight nursing and rehabilitation centers, and one assisted living facility, located in eight surrounding New Jersey towns. In addition, the Rehabilitation Therapy Company provides services to both internal and external clients. The division extends the continuum of care by offering medically complex and skilled rehabilitation services for those with congestive heart failure, stroke recovery, post-acute LVAD program, amputee recovery, dementia special-care units, hospice and palliative care, respite care and ventilator care. The position reports directly to Vice President System Corporate Finance/CFO and to the Acting Executive Director of Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The Vice President of Finance will serve as the senior operations leader for the finance department and will work closely with the acting executive director of nursing and rehabilitation division, the vice president of the rehabilitation therapy company, and the administrator of each of the nine facilities to ensure the overall financial performance of the division. The successful candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Chief Finance Officer, or possess the capability/background of responsibly managing the overall financial aspects of a multi-facility entity, preferably a for-profit venture.
