Dr. Gifford is a geriatrician currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at the American Health Care Association (AHCA). He is a former Director of the Rhode Island State Department of Health from 2005 to 2011, where he received the National Governor’s Distinguished Service Award for State Officials for his management of the H1N1 influenza outbreak.
Experts examine the outlook for regulatory and policy changes as the COVID pandemic heads into the final quarter of 2020. What lies ahead and how will the November election influence these evolving policies.
