Uniquely Formulated Lotion Heals Over Washing, Sanitizing Hands
There are hundreds of moisturizing lotion and cream options, but most of these only provide dry skin relief for a few minutes, or until hands are washed, and then they have to be reapplied. Gloves In A Bottle is unique compared with other lotions and creams because it is a shielding lotion, a lotion that bonds with the outermost layer of skin cells, enhancing the skin’s ability to retain natural oils and moisture and assisting in the skin’s ability to protect against hand sanitizers, alcohol, and other irritants.
Because it literally becomes part of the outer layer of skin, it does not wash off like other lotions, but comes off naturally as the skin exfoliates.
Gloves In A Bottle is vegan, dermatologist-tested and -prescribed, hypoallergenic, and noncomedogenic. Every ingredient is on the FDA’s most safe list.
Through a series of clinical studies conducted by independent labs and hospitals, it has been proven to be so safe it is approved for all staff use in hospitals, even in operating rooms.

Company Recertifies three Laundries for Cleanliness
AmeriPride Services’ Watkinsville, Ga., Springfield, Mo., and Minneapolis locations again have earned Hygienically Clean Healthcare certification. Hygienically Clean is the quantified, validated standard and measure for hygienically clean textiles in North America since 2011, and this re-certification reflects a laundry’s ongoing commitment to best management practices (BMPs) in laundering as verified by onsite inspection and its capability to produce hygienically clean textiles as quantified by ongoing microbial testing.
Recertification confirms the organization’s continuing dedication to infection prevention, compliance with recognized industry standards, and processing health care textiles using BMPs as described in its quality assurance documentation. The independent, third-party inspection must also confirm essential evidence that employees are properly trained and protected, managers understand regulatory requirements, and physical plant operates effectively.
To achieve certification initially, laundries pass three rounds of outcome-based microbial testing, indicating that their processes are producing Hygienically Clean Healthcare textiles with diminished presence of yeast, mold, and harmful bacteria. They also must pass a facility inspection. To maintain their certification, they must pass quarterly testing to ensure that as laundry conditions change, such as water quality, textile fabric composition, and wash chemistry, laundered product quality is consistently maintained. Reinspection occurs every two to three years.
Hygienically Clean Healthcare certification acknowledges laundries’ effectiveness in protecting health care operations by verifying quality control procedures in linen, uniform and facility services operations related to the handling of textiles containing blood and other potentially infectious materials.
Certified laundries use processes, chemicals, and BMPs acknowledged by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, American National Standards Institute, and others.
