​Vetter Senior Living is pleased to announce Heath Boddy has joined the home office team as Chief Business Development Officer.

Boddy brings a wealth of experience in the senior care industry, having most recently served for more than 11 years as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of the Nebraska Health Care Association. Boddy led the state’s nursing facility, assisted living, hospice, home health, and licensed practical nurse associations, as well as the Nebraska Health Care Foundation and an accredited post-secondary college dedicated to long-term care.

Prior to serving as NHCA’s president and CEO, Boddy served as executive director and administrator in several Nebraska long term care facilities, including two in the Vetter Senior Living family; Rose Lane in Loup City and Village Manor (now Southlake Village) in Lincoln. He also served on the National Center for Assisted Living Board of Directors, Affiliated State Health Care Association Executives Board of Directors, University of Nebraska-Department of Gerontology Advisory Board, and Great Plains Quality Improvement Network Board of Directors.

Retirement Unlimited (RUI), a Virginia family-owned and operated senior living community management company has named Jules Johanson as vice president of resident engagement. Johanson will assist in leading the Life Enrichment teams in both Virginia and Florida towards the continued implementation of the RUI strategic initiative and vision of delivering a lifestyle our residents have earned and deserve.

With more than 20 years of senior living experience and a dedication to life enrichment programming, Johanson brings extensive knowledge in resident programming, assisted living and memory care design, organizational communication, operations, business development, senior living marketing, and industry specific census and retention campaigns.

Gilbert Bolivar also joins RUI as vice president of food & beverage for all the communities located in Virginia and Florida. Bolivar possesses extensive expertise and knowledge that is proven to build long-term business success.

Bolivar brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in the development of opening and operating hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, retail, and theme parks. His hospitality career began in South Beach, Fla., in 2002. Most recently, Bolivar has worked as director of revenue operations where he oversaw food and beverage operations for Universal Studios Florida, one of the largest amusement parks in the US.

Bolivar will be overseeing and supporting the food and beverage initiatives at all RUI community locations.
