Brandi MeltonSunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab, Virden, Ill., has named Brandi Melton as its new executive director. The 99-bed skilled nursing facility provides short-term rehabilitation and long term skilled nursing care in an intimate and compassionate environment.

“My passion is advocating for the rights of our aging and disabled populations to ensure they receive the best quality of life and consistency in,” said Melton.  

She has served various populations in the human services sector over the past 10 years. Before joining the Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab family, she operated a skilled nursing and dialysis center in Marseilles, Ill.


Parkview on Hollybrook, Longview, Texas, an Integral Senior Living (ISL) community, has named Andrea Ziegler Vibrant Life® director, Wilda Kincaid resident care director, and Glen Tucker building service director.

“The energy this team brings to Parkview every day is an invaluable asset,” said Jeffery Smith, senior vice president of sales and marketing for ISL. “We are confident their expertise and positive attitudes will only contribute to the resident experience in our community.”

Ziegler joined Parkview in 2018 as an activities assistant and, with her resident-centered attitude, has quickly become an integral part of the community. She understands how people should be treated and aims to deliver the best overall experience for each resident.

Kincaid comes to Parkview with 10 years of nursing experience and is confident she has found her calling in senior living. Like Ziegler, her focus and passion are providing quality, resident-centered care to all of the community’s residents.

Tucker brings 15 years of experience in the senior living industry with him to Parkview, which he joined in August 2020. In his capacity as building services director, he oversees community maintenance, as well as housekeeping services.

Deanna HolmLeawood Gardens Senior Living, Leawood, Kan., another ISL community, has also named Deanna Holm Vibrant Life® director. The program provides daily enrichment activities for residents, who can personalize their schedules based on interests, needs and abilities.

Holm joins the Leawood Gardens team with more than 19 years of experience in the medical field. Her most recent position was as a memory care activity director at Aegis Therapy, where she received additional training in dementia care.

“The combination of her experience and her passion for helping seniors has already made a positive impact on our community,” said Becca Black, Leawood Gardens executive director.

At Leawood Gardens, Holm helps to ensure that residents are well cared for and living engaged active lives through ISL’s signature program, Vibrant Life®.

 

Jeanie JustieCovenant Living Communities and Services, a nonprofit faith-based senior living organization headquartered in Skokie, Ill., has named Jeannie Justie chief financial officer and Amy LaCroix senior vice president/community operations.

Justie comes to Covenant Living with more than 20 years’ experience in health care finance, most recently working for a Chicago-area health system with 19 hospitals.

In her role, she will work collaboratively with senior leadership in the areas of organizational and financial strategy, financial management, planning, analysis, and operations.


Amy LaCroix joins Covenant Living with nearly 20 years’ experience in the field of senior living and has worked in health care, assisted living, and memory care and with continuing care retirement communities. She most recently worked with a large senior living organization with seven communities in six states as a regional operations director.

Amy LaCroixLaCroix will work closely with senior leaders in operations, human resources, sales, marketing and communications, health services strategy, project development, information technology, and financial services.
