Terri Mundy
has joined Americare Senior Living as vice president of sales and
marketing. She brings more than 25 years of leadership experience,
including 15 years in the senior living industry. Mundy most recently
served as vice president of business optimization, where she led
high-performing teams, advanced strategic growth initiatives, and
demonstrated a strong commitment to customer care and innovation.
Americare has also announced the promotion of Eric Windham to regional director of operations. Windham joined Americare in 2014 as an
administrator-in-training. He brings more than a decade of proven
performance and a deep commitment to Americare’s mission, and he will
now oversee operations across multiple skilled nursing communities in
Kansas.
■ Vanessa Henderson has retired as director of the Mississippi Health Care Association (MHCA), and Ricky Saltzman
will now serve as director. Saltzman brings a strong commitment to
MHCA’s mission and a passion for serving members. He will continue to
build upon the strong foundation that has been established and will
serve members with excellence.
■ The Ecumen Board of Trustees has selected Dr. Cyrus Batheja, EdD, MBA, RN, FAAN,
as Ecumen’s next president and CEO. A registered nurse and nationally
recognized health care leader, Batheja brings more than two decades of
experience advancing care models that integrate health care, housing,
and community services for vulnerable populations.
■ Florida Health Care Association (FHCA) has elected Joshua Wagoner as president of the Association. Wagoner currently serves as divisional director of Aviata Health Group.
An
active member of FHCA for nearly two decades, Wagoner previously served
on the FHCA executive committee as senior vice president, treasurer,
and secretary.
Kristen Knapp,
FHCA’s senior director of strategy and communications, has been honored
with the Walter M. Johnson Jr. Circle of Excellence Award.
Knapp
has headed up communications for the health care organization for 18
years. She’s the lead public relations and public affairs manager and is
the FHCA spokesperson for media contacts and also handles coordination
for crisis communications.
■ Elizabeth Pratt-Laguna,
a registered nurse at Salem Hills Rehab & Nursing Center, has
received the 2026 NYSHFA Registered Nurse of the Year Award, and Ruth
Ann Edwards, a certified nursing assistant, has received the 2026 NYSHFA
Certified Nursing Assistant of the Year Award from the New York State
Health Facilities Association/New York State Center for Assisted Living
(NYSHFA/NYSCAL).

of Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Nursing Center and Salem Hills
Rehabilitation & Healthcare has been named the 2026 Manager of the
Year by the NYSHFA/NYSCAL, recognizing his outstanding leadership,
dedication, and commitment to excellence in long term care.
■ With more than 15 years of experience in the senior living industry, Ashley McLean
has been named the program director at CareOne at Sharon. McLean will
oversee the memory care and assisted living programming, bringing
innovation, empathy, and purpose to everything she does. A certified
dementia practitioner, McLean ensures her work is deeply rooted in
compassion and respect with a focus on enhancing quality of life through
connection, routine, and joy.
■ HCF Management has announced the appointment of
Christine Gladieux, MBA, as vice president of finance, further
strengthening its executive leadership team during a period of continued
growth and organizational focus.
In this role, Gladieux will lead
all finance and accounting functions and will work closely with the
president and board of directors to support informed decision-making and
ensure strong fiscal oversight across the organization.
